Supportive Care of Orleans offers grief support and counseling to anyone who has experienced a recent loss – regardless of any prior affiliation with hospice.
One-on-one Bereavement Counseling
Our specially trained bereavement counselors offer individual support for 13 months after a loss, or as long as needed.
The service includes personal visits, phone calls, and emails for ongoing support.
Bereavement Support Meetings
Face-to-face social support is important to give those who have experienced a loss the opportunity to lean on each other for comfort during a shared experience.
Supportive Care of Orleans hosts Bereavement Support meetings the last Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm at our Counseling Center office on West Avenue in Albion. These meetings are open to anyone in the community, as well as to all of our Hospice families.
First time attending our support group? We are so glad you are considering attending our bereavement support group. Although registration is not required, please call 585-589-0809 ahead of time in case of inclement weather or scheduling conflicts to be sure the group will be meeting.
See our campus map for directions.
