Bereavement Support
Hospice of Orleans offers grief support and counseling to anyone who has experienced a recent loss – regardless of any prior affiliation with hospice.
One-on-one Bereavement Counseling
Our specially trained bereavement counselors offer individual support for 13 months after a loss, or as long as needed.
The service includes personal visits, phone calls, and emails for ongoing support.
Bereavement Support Meetings
Face-to-face social support is important to give those who have experienced a loss the opportunity to lean on each other for comfort during a shared experience.
Hospice of Orleans hosts Bereavement Support meetings the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Albion.
First Baptist Church
30 W Park St., Albion, NY 14411
Parking is on the Beaver St. side
These meetings are open to anyone in the community, as well as to all of our Hospice families.
